ChargerMUN

Dear Model United Nations Delegates:
We invite you to the Fall 2026 ChargerMUN high school conference. The conference will be held in person at the University of New Haven's West Haven campus on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
Feedback from previous participants has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are excited to welcome you all back for our in-person MUN conference.
As in the past, we expect participation from several high schools and over 200 delegates. Top-performing school delegations will receive plaques, and outstanding delegates will receive certificates.
ChargerMUN will simulate two United Nations committees, including the Security Council, the General Assembly Third Committee, and the United Nations Environment Assembly, and discuss several key global issues. Students will work in teams to create, discuss, debate, and negotiate solutions to a global problem. Experience and extensive preparation are not required, as all participants will have access to a committee and topic background guide. Position papers are optional, though those who submit a position paper could win a position paper award.
