LTC Ryan Bulger Biography
​
LTC Ryan Bulger currently serves as the Commander of 1st Squadron, 3d Cavalry Regiment. A career Infantry Officer, LTC Bulger has served in light and Stryker Infantry organizations, commanding at the platoon through Squadron level.
In addition to his tactical experience, LTC Bulger has served in multiple strategic headquarters, most recently from 2016-2019, when he served as the lead planner for Operation Inherent Resolve for the USCENTCOM Joint Operations Division. He has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan four times in support of Overseas Contingency Operations.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University as Master's Degrees from Kansas State University and the US Army's Command and General Staff College. His military education includes the schools typical of an Infantry officer of his time in grade as well as graduating from the School of Advanced Military Studies and the Joint Combined Warfighting School.
